I dreamed that I was looking for a bottle of liquor for New years and I had money all the sudden and I found a bottle in the bottle was really beautiful it looked like a peacock in my dream the bottle was like 80 something dollars and then I seen these Mexicans and for some reason I asked this Mexican if he would go and pay for it for me and I gave him a 20 or 10 and a five which wasn't enough to pay for it I didn't realize this in my dream of course and then I changed my mind and I asked him for the money back and I going to pay for it myself and it wasn't 80 something dollars when I pay it's only 60 something dollars so I'm walking down the street after this and it's raining and I have an umbrella and I'm carrying my two bags and my mom who passed 2 years ago yells my name I turn around and there she is and she walks up and she says you're going to get all wet and she pulls this huge umbrella out of her back pocket like she's Mary Poppins and we walk and we're talking and we're laughing and then I woke up it was a good dream
Dreams can be quite personal and subjective, but I can help you explore some common themes and symbols from your dream.
Searching for Liquor: The search for a bottle of liquor might represent a desire for celebration or escape, especially as it's linked to New Year's, a time often associated with new beginnings and festivities. It could reflect your hopes or aspirations for the upcoming year.
Money and Value: Finding unexpected money could symbolize newfound confidence or resources in your life. The initial misunderstanding about the cost of the liquor bottle may suggest a theme of evaluation—perhaps you're reassessing your priorities or the value of certain aspects of your life.
Cultural Encounter: Interacting with the man who represents a different culture (in this case, a Mexican) might point to your willingness to connect with diverse perspectives and support. Your request for him to pay and then changing your mind could symbolize navigating independence and self-sufficiency in the face of complexity.
Rain and Umbrella: The rain can symbolize emotional release or cleansing, while your umbrella represents protection. The fact that you are prepared for the rain suggests a sense of resilience against challenges in your life.
Connection with Your Mother: The appearance of your mother, particularly after her passing, carries significant emotional weight. She represents love, guidance, and support, and her reminder to protect yourself from getting wet could indicate a desire for reassurance and comfort. The laughter and joy you share with her in the dream suggests a sense of connection, perhaps indicating that her spirit or memory is still part of your life.
Overall, your dream seems to reflect a journey through self-awareness, connection to past loved ones, and an exploration of your needs and values. It highlights themes of support, celebration, emotional resilience, and the ongoing presence of your mother's influence in your life. The positive feelings you experienced likely indicate that you are in a good place emotionally, finding joy and support despite life's challenges.
